NTA conducts CSIR NET Exam 2024 to access the eligibility of candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and recruitment as Assistant Professors and for admission to Ph.D in Indian Universities and Colleges through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. This year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the CSIR UGC NET December 2024 exam. The exam schedule is from 16 February to 28 February 2025. CSIR UGC NET December Notification 2024 has been released by the National Testing Agency, NTA, inviting online application for CSIR UGC NET December Exam. The CSIR NET Notification was released on yesterday, 9th December on its official website https://csirnet.nta.ac.in/. According to the notification, the application going to start on 9th December 2024 and applicant can submit it by 30th December 2024. The correction window will remain open for 2 days, from 4th to 5th January 2025. The NTA will start conducting the Joint CSIR UGC NET Examination 2024 from 16th February to 28th February 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must fulfill the eligibility criteria before registering for CSIR NET 2024 application.
- Nationality
- Applicant must be resident of India
- Age Limit
- The age limit for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) is 30 yrs; age relaxation will be given as per government norms
- However, for the Assistant Professor there is no upper age limit.
- Educational Qualification
- Eligible applicants must have any one of the following degrees, Integrated BS-MS, BS (4 years) BE / BTech, BPharma, and MBBS
- Applicant must have secured 55% (50% for SC/ST/PwD) in their qualifying examination

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to conduct the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) Exam 2024. The examination is schedule from 16th to 28th Feb 2025. The CSIR UGC NET Exam 2024 consists of 4 topics namely Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences and Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences.
