PDR Tourism, officially known as Panchayat Tourism, is an initiative under West Bengal Panchayat Tourism, which was brought to promote tourism services and facilities across the state of West Bengal. Led by the West Bengal Panchayat and Rural Development Department, the programme aims to provide a wide range of tourist facilities and properties to tourists at affordable prices, including guesthouses, homestays, resorts, hotels, ceremonial halls and conference halls. Usually these properties are managed by Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs).

PRD Tourism Portal is an online platform, designed by the Department of Panchayat and Rural Development to promote rural tourism across the state. This initiative showcases the unique tourism destinations in the rural areas of West Bengal. Also help users to explore the tourist attractions, heritage sites, eco-tourism experiences of various villages.

The PRD Tourism facilities is available on all 23 districts of West Bengal including Alipurduar, Bankura, Birbhum, Cooch Behar, South Dinajpur, Darjeeling, Hooghly, Howrah, Jalpaiguri, Jhargram, Kalimpong, Kolkata, Malda, Murshidabad, Nadia, North 24 Pargana, Paschim Medinipur (West Medinipur), Paschim Burdwan, Purba Burdwan, Purba Medinipur, Purulia, and Uttar Dinajpur.
Hall Booking System
The hall booking system through PRD Tourism is a straightforward process. Here is the booking process that one may follow.
- Select type of booking (Auditorium/Ceremonial/Community/Conference/Lounge/Marriage Hall).
- Choose Desired Location.
- Select Check-in Date and Check-out Date.
- Upon selecting a list of available result will appear, based on your choice choose the resort and continue the booking process.
Room Booking System
- Select type of room (Guest House/Homestay/Hotel/Pathasathi/Resort)
- Choose destination location
- Select Check-in and out date
- Choose number of individuals and proceed then complete the booking process.
Cancellation Charges
- Within 48 Hours/2 Days: 100% (No Refunds Acceptable).
- Within 7-15 days: 30% of booking amount
- Between 16-30 days: 20% of booking amount
- Within 30 days: 10% of booking amount
